Infobridge celebrates 7th Foundation Day
 Even as the completion of projects for our clients is the main focus, everyone at Infobridge likes to follow the motto that all work and no play makes you dull!
Together with meeting deadlines and completing goals, everyone at Infobridge looks forward to the biannual events that promise to be a time of fun filled celebration and laughter.
Our 7th Foundation Day held on 6 June 2009 was such an event that was held to celebrate Infobridge entering into its 7th year. With the recession casting a gloomy cloud over businesses around the world today, companies world over are facing losses and are downsizing. However, Infobridge still has a reason to smile and celebrate. With its client-oriented approach and strong culture and values, the company's growth in the past six years has not been affected even in such times.
 Even though it was a slow start to the day's events, this did not dampen spirits as slowly but surely the program got going. After the pooja, lighting of the lamp and welcome message by Roopa, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Milind Lele, Infobridge's long time client, as our special guest. Dr. Lele is the Managing Director of SLC Consultants, Inc. and a senior business strategy professional with over 30 years of experience in helping business leaders of US and international companies identify and capitalize on strategic business opportunities in their industries. We were fortunate to have Dr.Lele stop by despite his extremely busy schedule and share a few thoughts with us. He appreciated Infobridge's 'We can do it' attitude which was a great encouragement for everyone.
The presentation on the company's growth, vision and future plans by Infobridge Founder and CEO Kanchan Gauri, Creative Head Sunil Ijantkar and Finance Manager Manasi Katre provided everyone a glimpse into how Infobridge has been progressing over the last six years. After a very informational presentation on Unit Testing by Anup, there was just enough time before lunch for a game and a mimicry performance by Ravi, which left everyone in splits.
 Lunch was a grand affair with an amazing array of dishes laid out. Everyone energized themselves for the events in the afternoon, especially the games that were held.
The games proved to be a great team building activity and Silvester and Shital, the event managers, did an excellent job. The whole Infobridge team was divided into three teams for all the games. The team games were enjoyed by all but the most popular game proved to be The Tallest Tower where teams had to build a tower with straws that could stand independently. Teams were strategic and innovative with the Team Red Warriors coming on tops and eventually bagging the overall winner's title at the end. The couples and the group games were also entertaining for all.
 The afternoon events included the welcoming of our other special guest, Prof. Bapat. He is a consultant for many industries and a very senior and knowledgeable person who has been teaching engineering for many years. One important thought that he shared with everyone was that of how important good documentation is and a job well done is when all information is well documented without the need to give any information verbally.
The final performance was a special song by Shikha, Eknath, Nitin and Prajakta with Silvester playing the guitar and everyone joining in. With the cutting of the cake to celebrate Infobridge turning 7 and Chetan giving the vote of thanks, the program finally came to an end. It was truly an enjoyable experience for one and all

Sangeeta wins Miss Pune
 Congratulations to Sangeeta, junior web designer here at IBS, for bagging the Miss Pune crown at an event held recently in the city.
With this latest win, Sangeeta has added to the title of Miss Pune Times that she won last October which was held as part of the hunt for Mr and Ms PT on Campus.
Everyone here at Infobridge congratulates you, Sangeeta for this achievement and wishes you all the very best for all your future endeavors.
